Hong Kong Horse Riding Society (HKHRS)
was founded by Mr. Au Yeung Siu Man Tommy, a senior riding instructor, and his students in 2009. HKHRS endeavors to promote equestrian in Hong Kong. Riders can enhance thier confidence and gain enjoyable experience through horseback riding practice. To enhace the sharing among riders, HKHRS is planning to organize regular gatherings such as outward bound riding activities. Riders from different organizations are welcomed to join us.
Equestrian Sports
Equestrian is a kind of sport that requires communication and hamony between the rider and the horse, together with force and esthetics. Horseback riders practise their balance, rhythm, body softness and brain's reaction during riding activity. Equestrian sports is an excellent exercise for slimming as it trains the rider's hips, thighs and legs muscles. It also helps increase blood circulation, strengthen health and improve wrong posture. It is medically proven to be an effective rehabilitation therapy for patients who suffer from backbone diseases.

Mr. Au Yeung Shiu Man, Tommy joined the Hong Kong (Royal) Jockey Club apprentice jockey training course in 1974, including equestrian, obstacle course and flat racing knowledge.
