Mr. Au Yeung Shiu Man, Tommy joined the Hong Kong (Royal) Jockey Club apprentice jockey training course in 1974, including equestrian, obstacle course and flat racing knowledge. In 1976, he officially became a trainee jockey and participated in the competition. He went to the UK and Australia for six times for internships and further studies, and obtained a certificate. Mr. Ouyang has knowledge in horse management, medical treatment and riding, and he held important positions at the Hong Kong Jockey Club from 1990 to 1999. His work includes participation in horse racing affairs, horse riding, horse training, management, medical care, and coaching. An active jockey with rich teaching experience and enthusiasm for horses.
